That’s the only reason she’s able to claim that she slept with Dave Chappelle in her latest, and most desperate, bid for attention.
But when is enough finally enough?
Azealia Banks Wants To ‘Ruin Dave Chappelle’s Marriage’
Banks — apparently seething at the attention that Nicki Minaj, Lana Del Rey, and Doja Cat have been getting as of late — woke up today wanting some attention for herself.
So, she took to her Instagram stories to unleash chaos.
Azealia Banks threatened to ‘ruin Dave Chappelle’s marriage.’ She’s apparently upset that various “industry dudes” don’t come to her rescue when the media calls her out on her nonsense.
I should tell the world that we f*cked. That we F*CKED! You got some good d*ck, [expletive]. I should tell the world that we F*CKED!
Well. Alright then. Congratulations.
Banks then goes on to detail how rapper Dave East tried to charge her $25,000 for a feature. She then claimed that she had an affair with Adrian Grenier, and claimed that uber-macho rapper Busta Rhymes is gay.
All of this would be typical industry gossip, good for a laugh and a headline or two, if it came from anyone but the problematic Azealia Banks.
Banks Trends For Everything Except Her Music
It’s hard to remember the last time Azealia Banks made headlines for the music she makes (which isn’t half-bad).
And that’s the problem: this isn’t the first time she’s made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Back in 2016, Azealia Banks once again claimed that the men in the entertainment industry — specifically, the black men — didn’t rush to her defense when she needed it most.
For some reason, though, Azealia Banks aimed her fury at rapper Wale.
And as she did, she claimed that black men enslaved Africans, and complained that “Black women were never good enough for black men.”
Yes, really.
She’s also called Irish people “inbred.” She claims she slept with Elon Musk shortly before his relationship with Grimes went public. She’s embroiled in a nasty, ongoing feud with her mentor, the rapper T.I. She’s slammed Lana Del Rey. Her racist rant against Zayn Malik got her removed from a British music festival. She’s been suspended from Twitter countless times. She unsuccessfully sued Russell Crowe after she falsely claimed the Oscar-winning actor assaulted her. She compared the gay community to the Ku Klux Klan.
And if all that wasn’t enough, Azealia Banks is a vocal supporter of Donald Trump.
With all the people “cancel culture” silences daily, it’s amazing that it’s yet to cancel Azealia Banks. But the canceling is long overdue.
